AMB Engineers (Pty) Ltd trading as (AMB Development Consultant ), a 100% Level 1 BEEE rated company, was founded and is owned by Bhekuyise Henry Makedama. A family man, Bhekuyise takes pride in the name AMB, derived from the initials of the first names of each of his three daughters. Bhekuyise has significant experience in the Civil Engineering industry - in the design, contract administration and project management of various sorts of civil engineering projects.
In establishing AMB, Bhekuyise’s vision was to build a company competent in the small to medium size business space, known for its professional service, quality of work and meaningful interaction with clients, during its first five years of operation. The AMB team is made up of highly skilled co-opted business associates, passionate about innovation - who will take up shareholding once sufficient traction in the industry is realised.
With the combined skill and experience of over 25 years in the industry, AMB focuses on infrastructure projects, including the design and construction of water and sanitation projects; roads and storm water projects; design and construction of sports facilities and community halls. AMB also offers Management Consulting services in the local government space (development of Annual Reports; facilitating Strategy Development, etc.) and Training and Development.
